Mr. Lien is a semi-retired Licensed Professional Civil Engineer currently engaged in consulting and in personal architectural and construction-related interests. He has held responsible project manager positions in water resources, specifically concerning Texas Water Rights, Water Rights/River Basin modeling, and has conducted Dam Safety Survey and Dam Spillway Adequacy studies, and simulated Dam Breaches and resultant Flood Modeling. He has also managed a large scale environmental mitigation project to clean up smelter deposited lead waste in a residential neighborhood and developed and managed statewide programs to evaluate and clean up scores of orphaned and responsible party petroleum storage tank contamination sites including groundwater remediation and statewide emergency response actions. Danny also spent 21 years as section manager and senior engineer of the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission. Mr. Lien received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas in 1981. He was also a member of the Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Honor Society.
Mr. Lien works as a legal assistant to Goldsmith & Bogisch on oil and gas and engineering related matters.
